A story about Gwen Harlow
Gwen never lets the potential for happiness go to waste. I think that’s extraordinary.
Gwen never lets the potential for happiness go to waste. I think that’s extraordinary.
How did Gwen develop such an amazing bunch of friends and such a delightful, distinct, and telling style sense? I met her through her renowned Ladies and Gentlemen Who Like to Lunch lunches in Oakland. But she had a long and charming bunch of friends before and since. Is it her wit? Her charm? Her chuckles? Her way of making people feel special? Or all of the above?
Gwen is unafraid of being herself, which makes everyone around her unafraid of being themselves.
She has this uncanny ability to “put things out to the Universe” and get a positive response. This has gotten her a super cool home in Alameda and an awesome Celebrity Tempurpedic (sp?) bed. If you’re nice to her, she’ll let you lie on it, too!
Gwen cracks herself up, is a great mom, is sentimental and not afraid to show it, takes some of the best photographs I have ever seen, volunteered her time to help displaced people after Hurricane Katrina, appreciates bacon and is nice.
Besides, she introduced me to hot dogs in tortillas.
Tim’s company, conversation, and charm are delightful, and making his acquaintance is one of the best things that’s happened in 2006.
She has the greatest porch in all of Alameda. I could sit there every night and talk and talk and talk some more.
Purportedly licks anything.
[photo snagged from wardomatic , and not actually plinko, but you get the idea]
Merlin is my one internet boyfriend who has never acknowledged [or noticed] that fact. The rest of them—scores in the past decade!—have fallen right in line without me having to even break a sweat, so I guess I’m not doing so bad. He’s damn funny though.
